Lingual Braces London: Hidden Braces for a Discreet Smile

If you want straighter teeth without visible braces, lingual braces in London could be the ideal solution. Unlike traditional braces, lingual braces are fitted to the back of your teeth, making them virtually hidden when you smile.

At SmartDontics, we offer discreet orthodontic treatment for adults and suitable teenagers who want the effectiveness of fixed braces without having brackets on the front of their teeth. Your treatment is carefully planned around your bite, tooth position and smile goals to help achieve a precise, confident result.

What Are Lingual or Hidden Braces?

Lingual braces are fixed braces placed behind the teeth, on the tongue-facing surface, rather than on the front. They work in a similar way to conventional fixed braces by using brackets and wires to gradually move your teeth into better alignment.

Because they sit behind the teeth, they are often known as hidden braces or invisible braces and are a popular choice for patients who want a highly discreet orthodontic option.

Lingual braces can be used to treat a range of orthodontic concerns, including crowding, spacing and certain bite problems. At your consultation, the SmartDontics team can assess whether lingual braces are suitable for you and explain how they compare with other options such as clear aligners or traditional fixed braces.

Proud Provider of Incognito™ Lingual Braces

At SmartDontics, we provide Incognito™ lingual braces in London for patients who want effective fixed orthodontic treatment with a highly discreet appearance. Incognito™ braces are fitted behind the teeth, so they remain hidden from view when you smile, speak or go about your day.

Each appliance is individually designed to fit the shape of your teeth and support precise tooth movement throughout treatment. The low-profile brackets are created with comfort in mind, making Incognito™ braces a popular option for adults and suitable teenagers who want a discreet alternative to traditional fixed braces.

If you are considering hidden braces in London, our orthodontic team can assess your smile and advise whether Incognito™ lingual braces are suitable for your needs.

Benefits of Lingual Braces

Patients choose Incognito™ lingual braces because they combine the control of fixed orthodontic treatment with a discreet design.

Hidden from view: The brackets are positioned behind your teeth, making them virtually invisible from the front.
Custom-made treatment: Each bracket and wire is designed specifically for your teeth and personalised treatment plan.
Precise tooth movement: Lingual braces allow your orthodontic team to carefully control the movement and alignment of your teeth.
Suitable for a range of orthodontic problems: They can be used to treat concerns including crowding, spacing and certain bite issues.
Discreet for everyday life: A popular choice for professionals and patients who prefer their orthodontic treatment to remain less noticeable.
Fixed in place: Because the braces stay attached to your teeth, there is no need to remember to wear or replace removable aligners.
Personalised orthodontic care: Your treatment is regularly reviewed and adjusted to keep your smile progressing towards the planned result.

At SmartDontics, we can explain the differences between lingual braces, clear aligners and traditional braces and help you choose the orthodontic treatment that best suits your smile and lifestyle.

Smile Confidently Throughout Your Treatment
