How does Invisalign® Treatment work?

When you visit us for your Smile Analysis, we will use our cutting-edge iTero scanner to create an accurate 3D model of your smile. This model allows Dr Darsh to plan your custom treatment programme and even show you what your future smile will look like!

Based on your scans, Dr Darsh will create a series of custom aligners that are each shaped a little differently than the next. To move forward through treatment, you will switch to a new set of aligners every couple weeks from the comfort of your own home.

Invisalign® treatment for teens

Because Invisalign® clear aligners are removable, teens can take them out for sports practice, playing musical instruments and social events. They also won’t need to adjust their diet during treatment!

Removing aligners for short periods of time shouldn’t affect your teen's treatment, as long as they aim for wearing them 22 hours a day. We provide special blue wear indicators on teen aligners to help teens remember to wear them for the recommended 22 hours.

Invisalign® treatment for kids

Invisalign® First is a special Invisalign® treatment for children ages 7 - 11. The aligners help to widen your child’s jaws, and address any early orthodontic problems that may arise. Using Invisalign® First can reduce the extent of treatment during your child’s teenage years.
